A new intriguing plot will plunge you into the twists and turns of a civil war that has engulfed the Holy Griffin Empire, and tell the story of the mighty race of dwarves who for centuries lived in seclusion in the north of the Empire. Additional Campaigns and maps, magic spells, previously unseen buildings, neutral creatures, and a random map generator will provide an opportunity to look at the legendary game in a new way and grant dozens of hours of exciting adventures in the world of Heroes of Might and Magic V!
The events of «Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate» unfold immediately after the conclusion of Isabelle's war with the demons: the Griffin Empire had not yet recovered from the bloody battles with the hordes of Inferno when it found itself engulfed in the flames of civil war. While the ruthless Inquisition led by Queen Isabelle attempts to deal with the rebels, a new formidable force awakens in the north of the kingdom. After centuries of isolation, the dwarves take up arms once more, and the roar of war horns is heard ever more clearly across the expanses of the Empire…
