This is where Mapmaking in Heroes VI begins. The developers said that the editor would be available to the public before the game's release, and they kept their promise. However, we didn't get the editor from them, but from a user named mamaich from Hugo, who figured out how the game works, and we are very grateful to him. Everything you need to run the editor is in his quote.

I've updated the Heroes 6 map editor. Now it supports saving and loading maps. Also, the archive contains a standard map from Broken Alliance, named Scenario\Test\prologue.scn. Link: http://www.multiupload.com/T9ZZ3HOUGZ Installation: extract the files into the game directory. Run run_editor.cmd.
I haven't found a "normal" way to launch custom maps from the game (although I didn't really look for it). But I found that when using the "/presstourdemo" key, the game tries to load the map "\Scenario\Test\prologue.scn" or "\Scenario\Test\Mother Namtaru Press Demo.scn". Therefore, to play your own map, you need to save it in the editor under one of these two names and launch the game with the /presstourdemo key. For convenience, the archive also contains the file run_map.cmd, which already contains these keys. So, if anyone wants to, they can start creating their own maps ;)
Also, here's some fresh News about the camera in the editor.

I found out how to change how much the camera zooms in/out in the game and the editor. To do this, you need to place the CustomCameraSettings.xml file from http://www.multiupload.com/NWGF74RDO4 in the game's EXE directory. And edit it:
for example, to
(it's already been edited in the archive). Then you can move the camera very far away.
