With a significant delay, but I still can't help but mention the release of the new album by the band in question.

Endgame

This wonderful album was released on September 15, 2009, although the release date varied in different countries. It all started with the amazing single Head Crusher, which could be freely downloaded from the internet. Perhaps one of the most notable songs on the entire album, as well as one of the heaviest. This song was also nominated for "Best Metal Performance" at the 52nd Grammy Awards. The song itself is about a medieval torture device, which, however, corresponds to the aggressiveness and heaviness of the track.

At first, all of this seemed boring and monotonous to me, and I didn't remember anything except the first instrumental track. However, everything changed drastically after a few listens, as often happens. I began to notice the beautiful, "juicy" riffs, these killer solos, and a little later, I also read the lyrics with great interest. The lyrics are about robbing a bank, about cars, about a torture device, as mentioned above. There is a song that seems to be inspired by the theme of the crisis... Or at least has something to do with the economy of the United States. On Wikipedia, you can read the following:

Overall, the album was quite well received by critics. In my opinion, the band recorded one of their best albums of all time, which is not something that happens often for veteran bands in the 21st century.

Dave Mustaine - MEGADETH took 1st place in this hit parade.
He states on every occasion: "I was saved in 2002." Since then, he has become famous for banning "unclean" bands like ROTTING CHRIST from festivals and joint concerts in which he participates.
