These are incomplete PRELIMINARY results.
First, some brief comments on Group B.
The arena result between DeadLord and Brennan is missing. A decision will be made later, and the opinions of the participants will certainly be taken into account. The situation is further complicated by the fact that NEITHER hero has necromancy.
It's a pity that two rather significant mistakes affected the distribution of places, but I'm sure that the participants who made them will play much better and more carefully in the next tournament.

Regarding the arenas in Group A.
Firstly, there are still quite a few empty slots in the table. Moreover, the results are PRELIMINARY, so even the results that have already been entered may be subject to correction. As I understand it, the incorrect interpretation of the aspects of the limited game field and the stacks on it caused some players to SURRENDER WITHOUT CHECKING in a very promising position. I would like to remind you that well-reasoned statements from players, with specific moves, battle plans, and tactical ideas, are welcome. The judges want the table to be filled with objective, fair, and correct results, and constructive opinions from the players will hopefully help us and many other fans of the second Heroes game.

Results of the 5th joint 3-resource Tournament!

Any player can dispute the results before January 11, 2009, by providing the judges with the most detailed description of the battle tactics used in the arena.

Congratulations to the tournament winner - PReDS, on HL he became the Champion of the 2008 League.
It is doubly pleasing that the first 2 places were taken by Legionnaires. SDV showed an excellent result, he was just a little short of being first! And in general, the level of play in this tournament was exceptionally high, which greatly pleased the organizers! There were many good results, but somewhere there was a lack of experience, and this affected the final result. For Portal, this was the first arena tournament, for World - the 2nd, but at this rate, they will definitely be in the first places very soon. ;-)

There will be new tournaments, new arenas, new winners and Champions, so we are not saying goodbye, see you in the New Year, in the 2009 season! :-)

I volunteer to be DR28's second in his arena match against Jackaranda, and also to be a second in the SDV arenas against PReDS and Dust. If there are no objections from DR28 and SDV, I will try to score a few more tournament points in these 6 matches than I currently have in the standings (0).
I am ready to play these arenas online, ready to defend them, and to do so publicly on any forum.

I disagree with the result against Dust. I am willing to relinquish the rights to defend my lost battles to Qwerty.

Dear tournament participants, fans, and esteemed judges! Unfortunately, during our wonderful Competitive event, certain objective circumstances arose (which the judging panel and my close associates are aware of), negatively impacting the tournament's progress. First and foremost, I apologize for the prolonged delay in announcing the final results of the tournament (2nd to 5th place); this is entirely my fault. In addition, I apologize for the insufficient speed, thoroughness, and attentiveness in judging the arenas of Group A, as well as for the lack of in-depth analysis of a number of game aspects. Please bear with us for a little longer while we finalize the results (2nd to 5th place). I would like to note the exceptionally high level of the tournament. A huge thank you to ALL players without exception. Some played stronger, others differently, but the vast number of original game ideas shown in the tournament personally pleased me very much. The lack of obviousness, and sometimes even the ambiguity, of a number of arenas was almost unprecedented (I can only recall the classic case with the djinns from history; I don't remember another instance with SUCH intensity...), and the 248 arenas played are also very impressive. The resonance of the tournament among fans of the second Heroes game was truly impressive; I hope the enjoyment you gained from playing the arenas will encourage you to participate in future arena (and other) tournaments! Congratulations to the winner of the joint tournament of three forums - PReDS, for his brilliant and innovative play, as a result of which all opponents were defeated with a clean score of 2-0!
