You have an army limit on the map. Hide some army or dismiss it. When there are 8 or more armies on the map, the game doesn't allow you to split armies.

I've encountered an unpleasant problem with the map editor in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. I installed the game, and everything works fine, but the names of creatures and artifacts are not displayed in the editor. I've searched the internet extensively, but I haven't found anyone else with the same problem, and therefore, no solution either. I have Windows 10 installed, and the computer was originally purchased in the USA. I thought the problem might be due to this, as I previously encountered issues where regular Cyrillic characters were displayed as some strange symbols in many programs. The above-mentioned solution did not yield any results. I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Hello, I'm encountering a completely incomprehensible problem. I'm creating a campaign, and in one of the missions, I have 5 bots in different teams, each with 4 cities, one of which is fully built. Next to such a city, there's a strong hero of level 40, and the issue is that when the Chaos bot's turn begins, the game consistently crashes. I've tried not giving him "Energy Vortex," I didn't give him buildings that grant 1000 experience (thinking it might be breaking due to exceeding the experience limit), and I removed the limit on the bot's maximum level. But it's all in vain; if not on his first turn, then on his second, the game will definitely crash. What could this be related to?

The problem is that the game freezes during combat. I can't do anything, I can't even close it using the task manager; it completely freezes. I have to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete and log out. What should I do? How can I fix this?
