Just installed WOG! Tried to generate a map, but a window popped up with the message "STRING WAS NOT FOUND," with two large icons in the shape of gold bars (but gray) above it, and a button (with a checkmark) below the message that cannot be clicked! I waited a couple of minutes, but it seems the loading process wasn't continuing! Please help! Thank you in advance! Just discovered a new aspect of the problem!!! Tried to load a simple map, and the same message popped up, so the problem isn't with the map generation, but with something else! HEEEELP!

If you installed WoG on top of SoD, check if the map generator works in SoD? If it doesn't work, create 4 empty files in the \HEROES\DATA directory:

h3ab_ahd.vid
h3ab_ahd.snd
h3ab_spr.lod
h3ab_bmp.lod

In the HEROES directory:
h3blade.exe - also with zero length.

As a rule, all problems are solved after this.

Or just download fixes from the internet and play with them - there are already countless maps for WoG, and as a rule, they are all better than random ones...

Gold bars are actually mithril bars. They are needed to upgrade mines and create some kind of magical terrain around the castle, for example, Magic Plains.

You need to have a clean SOD and place a fire god on it, and then you'll be happy.
