Posts from Chaos magic. Is it necessary?

It is definitely needed; during a rain of arrows, it helps very effectively, and if it's also an enchanted ballista, that's a significant plus!!! Especially when you don't have time to choose your sworn enemies (I mean short maps).

Chaos is just too rare to build a strategy around it. In my opinion, Chaos and Darkness are the most useless skills for a Sorceress!

The chance of Chaos artifacts dropping is 8%, the same as for Light artifacts. And in some version, there's a bug where the chance of Light artifacts dropping is 4%. I rarely have problems getting Chaos artifacts. But randomness is randomness. Once, a demon only learned the basic Dark Magic spells at level 24 or 25.

I need chaos... it's so lovely... an enchanted arrow , some kind of chaos.

And a well-upgraded crossbow with the Rain skill looks great; battles become fast and visually appealing. In my opinion, Chaos is what the Elves need.

How could anyone even consider an option without Chaos?
If there's no Chaos, it means there's light, but then racial abilities don't work: enchanted arrow and arrow storm. And if that's the case, why were these skills (which are actually very good skills) given to the Elves?

The argument about the enchanted arrow from Divine Vengeance doesn't hold up – Blood Knights will die quickly anyway, so wasting units on them is pointless.

If you're going to go with light (which I don't like, unless the hero is Wingael or Ilfina), then you shouldn't develop arrow storm and enchanted arrow.

YES, here the option is not only without Chaos but also without Light and generally without magic. Elves are good mages, but they make better warriors. Attack, leadership, luck, logistics, and defense are what an elf needs to win, and relying on Chaos, even though it can enhance elves, is, in my opinion, very foolish! P.S. Does anyone know if Berserk and Blindness affect arrows and Light spells?

I also think Chaos is a must-have, especially with Enchanted Arrow and Rain. In Light Magic, it's quite difficult to charge an arrow with Divine Vengeance, as you don't have that much mana. But charging an arrow with Ice Bolt and then using Rain of Cursed Arrows is a real pleasure! :smile14:
