Single elimination bracket, BO3 format. The time limit for each match is short (2-3 weeks per series), so it should proceed quickly.
The tournament starts this Saturday (July 31st).
Changes compared to the original h3dm1:
#1: The "Portal Repulsion" option has been enabled in treasure zones, which reduces the likelihood of random, quick encounters; a portal to another plane will be generated less frequently near the entrance to the treasure zone.
#2: The number of rounds in battles is limited to 50.
#3: The value of the Imp lair has been reduced to 3000.
#4: Level 4 shrines have been removed.
#5: Outpost taverns have been removed.
#6: Lina, Ciel, Vidomina, Tant, Solmyr, Dimir, Aislinn, and Gisel are banned.
#7: Roland, Catherine, Mutare, Mutare Drake, and Boragus have been added to compensate for the number of available heroes.
#8: The following artifacts are banned: Wood Cart, Ore Cart, and Amulet of Knowledge. This increases the chance of receiving a more worthwhile reward in the graveyard, which is now more difficult to exploit due to the 50-round limit.
