3.* The tournament consists of two stages:
- group stage;
- playoff stage.
COLOR SELECTION one of the following options:
- by mutual agreement of the players;
- using a draw;
- or the color is determined by the tournament judge.
TEMPLATE SELECTION one of the following options in descending order of priority:
- performed by crossing out according to the 1-1-....-1-1 scheme from the full list for each game;
- randomly for each game (the corresponding option is set in IRMG before map generation);
- players are free to choose a template for each game by mutual agreement;
- any combination of the above template selection options for each game.
List of templates for map generation: crown, letos, m3, mask, labyrinth, rainbow, spider, sun. The blue player starts crossing out.
FACTION SELECTION one of the following options in descending order of priority:
- performed via a standard cross-out according to the 1-2-...-2-1 scheme from the full list for each game; Each player has their own list of factions: Haven, Sylvan, Dark Elves, Barbarian, Academy, Fortress, Inferno, Necropolis. The blue player starts crossing out. He crosses out 1 faction either for himself or his opponent. Then the red player, during the cross-out, may: either cross out 2 factions for himself or his opponent, or cross out 1 faction for himself and 1 for his opponent. After that, the blue player, during the cross-out, may: either cross out 2 factions for himself or his opponent, or cross out 1 faction for himself and 1 for his opponent. During the final cross-out, one of the players crosses out 1 faction for himself or his opponent. That is, the cross-out scheme is: 1-2-2-...-2-1, where the specified number is the number of factions crossed out: for oneself, the opponent, or both simultaneously, but in total (for both players) not more than the specified number. As a result of all cross-out actions, each player must be left with 1 faction. These are the ones you will play. - randomly for each game (the corresponding option is set in IRMG before map generation);
- players are free to choose factions for each game by mutual agreement;
- any combination of the above faction selection options for each game.
Group stage. Groups are formed based on rating and divided into 2 groups "Papas" and "Non-papas".
Group 1 - "Papas": Will dmitrik dexterwar Stefandmy sir_moz ekzekut Bradiaga s_e_r_e_g_a BOLIVAR G_L
Group 2 - "Non-papas": BAtoN Vip.rus alex_nv KIR9XMI Noom h82w8 Y11 vovan112013 KillAndAction Иван1 Hikitaaa Hazer.
Each player in Group 1 - "Papas" must play against their opponent according to the bO3 scheme (after the 1st/2nd game, players must switch colors), and in Group 2 - "Non-papas" according to the bO1 scheme. Playing ahead is allowed if available opponents are present. The top 5 places in Group 1 - "Papas" and the top 3 places in Group 2 - "Non-papas" based on the group stage results advance to the playoff stage.
Games not confirmed by the end of the group stage are considered unplayed, and points for them are not awarded.
Playoff stage.
The draw for the quarter-finals is performed randomly; subsequent games follow the scheme presented in the header of this thread. Throughout the playoff stage, play follows the bO3 scheme, except for the final which is bO5.* In the second/third/fourth/fifth game, participants switch colors. If opponents in the playoff stage fail to finish a game (I.E. THERE IS NO CONFIRMED GAME REPORT IN THIS THREAD), the judge will decide the result based on information received from the opponents about the games.
4. The use of any bugs, undocumented features, cheat codes, as well as unofficial programs and modifications is prohibited, except for the TE mod itself (and programs creating virtual networks). Use of interface mods that do not change game mechanics is permitted.
5. In case of connection loss or game crash, the last autosave is loaded; players are required to exactly repeat all their moves up to the moment of connection loss or single crash. If a connection loss or crash occurs on the first day of the game, heroes are randomly rolled again.
6. In battles between players, a stalemate situation may arise (where neither player can win). In this situation, the attacking side must retreat or surrender (at their discretion). If the Shackles of War artifact is involved in the battle, then upon a stalemate, the battle should be finished in AutoCombat mode.
7. Each participant has the right to 1 restart with map regeneration for each game against every opponent, no later than the second day of the first week of the first month. The end of the day is considered as pressing the turn-end button, regardless of whether the opponent finished their current turn or not. Generating all 3 maps before starting the game is not mandatory. The first map can be generated, and then each subsequent one only after a player's respective restart.
7.1. Simultaneous turn disconnection or desync in week 1 - technical restart (except cases where both players are ready to continue the game).
7.2. Simultaneous turn disconnection in week 2 and later - the game continues (except cases where both players are ready to start the game over).
8. Each player may request a technical restart if a map bug affecting the course of the game is discovered during play. Information about the map bug, supported by a screenshot, map file, and other evidence, is sent to the judges for a decision on the validity of the restart request.
9. "Red-rush" is prohibited, meaning an attack by red on the first day of the week with purchased growth (the red player may attack on the first day, but without purchasing growth).
10. Joining neutrals is prohibited. As an exception, joined units can be taken to be sacrificed in a pit or sold at the market, but not put into battle. Goblins who join the army after "Treachery" triggers may remain in the army.
11. Using the same-turn spell "Astral Gates" to jump from any zone into the opponent's starting zone is prohibited if the portal/garrison connecting them has not been breached. It is also prohibited to use the same-turn spell "Astral Gates" to jump into an adjacent zone of the opponent and enter the opponent's starting zone in that same turn.
12. Pressing wait on Krag's first strike in battles with opponent heroes is prohibited; it is permitted against neutrals.
13. In each individual game in a group, 1 point is awarded for a win and 0.5 points for a draw.
14. When determining the player's position in the tournament table during the group stage, if points are equal, the following criteria apply:
- Berger coefficient;
- result of head-to-head meeting;
- number of wins;
- number of draws;
- number of losses;
- additional game.
The additional game is conducted between opponents according to tournament rules: color selection, standard cross-out of templates and factions.
15. Attention! LOADS are PROHIBITED in this tournament!! Exception: a mutual agreement on the number of loads has been reached by both players. If, despite the agreed number of loads, players have disagreements about the outcome of the game (win/loss) due to loads, the tournament judge reserves the right to decide the outcome of the game.
16. Registration for the tournament is done using the automated system by clicking the "sign up for tournament" button. The message must include all available contact methods that the player deems necessary to provide:
