So, if I try again, they give me a different hero. This situation doesn't suit me at all, and I don't want to continue playing like this. Google doesn't provide any information about this problem. Only one post was found on this forum.

Using someone else's save is also not very appealing because I chose the secondary skills that I needed, built everything up to level GM5, and visited training grounds. Also, I am playing at 130%, while the save file is at 200%.

upd. I'm attaching a save file from the previous mission, where all that's left is to click on the auto-battle and proceed to the mission with the gem. Please, if anyone can, check it on their own clients; maybe something glitched on my end.

Well, it's clear that you can complete it with any hero, even Verdish. However, it's more interesting to play as our heroine, because that's how the game was designed.

Apparently, that's why she was level 1 in the previous scenario :D

Hi everyone, I just encountered this problem today and decided to solve it (at least for myself).
Basically, in the previous campaign for Jela Dem, she was in my squad. I reloaded the save where I hadn't finished playing as Jela, dismissed Dem, completed that mission, and in the new mission, instead of a random hero, I had Dem!
The point is probably that you shouldn't have Dem in your squad at the end of the previous scenarios, so just in case, check if she was in other scenarios - or better yet, start the Unholy Alliance campaign right away with Dem to make sure you have the same problem as I do. Good luck!
