Hello everyone. There's an issue with the Hota lobby:smile15:
I'm playing online through a virtual machine (XP OS). Characters aren't displayed in the main lobby, specifically:
1) in the "game description" field (game name), although you can enter a password.
2) it's impossible to type anything in the general lobby chat – the cursor appears in the line, but there are no characters. Interestingly, when switching the chat to a private message, you can type (although messages seem to rarely reach the recipient).
3) in the "room" before the game, everything is typed and the opponent can see it.
4) in the game itself, the chat works fine.

Any ideas? It looks like some kind of spam protection.

I don't play HotA or online games myself, but you should ask in this thread.

I have a similar problem; I'm playing on WIN7 in VirtualBox. @hera, did you find any solutions?

That's right. Any account automatically receives a "read-only" status if logged in from a virtual machine.
In this case, you need to ask an administrator (red nickname in the lobby) to mark you as a trusted user.
