Try removing third-party maps and mods. The cause of the bugs might be in them.

Do you know why the bug exists for me and other people? I don't. That's why I don't know why Remix doesn't have it. Besides me, two other people in this thread have the same problem (NikitaM and Allestrago), but the question is directed to me after two years, and not to those people who were trying to figure it out back then.
Version 3.1. I didn't use any alternative creature upgrade. The only mod I have adds specific numbers to the descriptions of city specializations. I removed it, but it didn't help.

I didn't encounter any bugs here; I've completed it at least three times. I played the standard version with the Hammers of Fate expansion, without any mods.

I don't know why the script isn't working for some people. It works perfectly for me. The scenario is interesting and not too complicated.
