Well, I meant not necessarily in bed. And regarding loneliness... it's up to you. In general, I wasn't thinking about whether a person should or shouldn't regret something. The point is more about whether you want to know that you're going to die soon, or if it should happen suddenly, and you wouldn't have time to say goodbye to anyone, even to yourself in your thoughts.

If there's someone to say goodbye to or someone to spit in the face before the end, then of course, it's better to do it than not. If I understand correctly, that's the situation we're discussing.

Another important point to consider. Even if you die surrounded by loved ones, you can still worry about how difficult it will be for them without you, both emotionally and financially.

Well, that's if you die at 30. We certainly live in the best country in the world, but even here, the average life expectancy is higher.

I've trained myself to accept the idea that everything in this world is ephemeral and transient. Subconsciously, as a teenager, I would meticulously replay various tragic scenarios in my head, imagining what could happen to me and my loved ones, in order to be mentally prepared for them... And this habit sometimes still manifests itself, although I'm already trying not to think about it. I would like to die when I want to, and in the way I want to. Ideally, I'd like to be an old man who understands that he can no longer bring anything good to the world physically, and his mind is already fading, and I would choose some form of euthanasia for myself (I hope this will be legal by that time). But, of course, anything can happen at any time, so I try to live in the moment and breathe deeply here and now.
