I saw a comic artist on Instagram mention that a monochrome page doesn't necessarily have to be gray. I really liked this idea, and I think it makes the artwork much more vibrant. I'll probably do it this way from now on.
Traditionally, the eyes and hair of the characters still have their own color.

Also, I've stopped using paint.net for assembling frames and post-processing. Everything is done directly on a canvas of the desired size in Krita, and even on a single layer (meaning the main part of the drawing, not the speech bubbles or text) – this results in increased speed, and the final page is organized more efficiently.

The drawing has matured (the artwork for the festival was based on one of the frames, and I was already starting to work on it back then).


Of course, it was my first, rather clumsy attempt, and I still have a lot to experiment with in this direction (I hope I will continue).

Right now, I'm on the subway and I see a guy wearing a white lab coat. I just want to walk up to him and say: "Elf. Psy. Congru."
