Well, I said that somewhat figuratively. No advice will help here. Advice without practice is useless. And practice requires a certain amount of time, especially when playing against such an opponent. I'm so pessimistic about your future games only because it will take time to win. Advice is, of course, great and helpful, but it can't be the whole part of the victory; personal skill plays the biggest role. (Unless someone from the pros sits next to you and suggests every move). To be honest, I'm not a very good player, quite the opposite. I have a lot of experience in reading manuals and theory, and even playing as Necropolis; but I haven't played much in practice. Therefore, my advice to you is: practice more often - not only on the maps, and not only against your friend; just play for many hours, with good advice, of course, and everything will eventually work out in your favor.
