TOURNAMENT RULES

First stage - Heroes of Might and Magic 1. The tournament takes place on the map "March 8th".
1. The goal is to obtain the artifact gift - a necklace - in the shortest possible game time, guarded by stubborn ghosts. In case of a tie in days, the secondary victory criterion is evaluated - the sum of the primary characteristics of the best hero, taking into account the artifacts in his backpack (Attack, defense, magic, knowledge).
2. The tournament is held on the Russian version of the game "Heroes of Might and Magic" from Bukka with patch TE 1.04 or higher installed. Saves sent on other versions will not be considered. All information about patch TE 1.04 is presented in this section.
Second stage - Heroes of Might and Magic 2. The tournament takes place on the map "March 8th".
1. The goal: To obtain the artifact gift with the most experience - Ice Cloak or Fire Cloak, guarded by monsters (the map is limited to 7 days). In case of a tie in experience, the secondary victory criterion is evaluated - the sum of the primary characteristics of the best hero, taking into account the artifacts in his backpack (Attack, defense, magic, knowledge).
2. The tournament is held both on the Russian version of the game "Heroes of Might and Magic 2" from Bukka, and on the English Heroes of Might and Magic 2. You choose which version to play on. :P
II. Restrictions on the walkthrough
To save time, it is recommended to use the automation programs listed in the "Programs and Utilities" section, both for scouting and for the final walkthrough.
Note - it is forbidden to use the Heroes Editor program in the final walkthrough.
It is forbidden to use any cheat programs that can change the structure of the game and the starting save.
It is forbidden to restart the game (you can only play from the starting save).
Discussing the tournament online is allowed!
III. Sequence of actions for participating in the tournament and preparing the final save.
1. Download the archive 8_march.7z.
2. Unpack it and place the starting saves in the GAMES folder of the installed Heroes of Might and Magic 1 and Heroes of Might and Magic 2 on your computer.
For Heroes of Might and Magic 1, this is Start_H1.GM1, For Heroes of Might and Magic 2, this is Start_H2.GM1.
The archive also contains the maps: VIMF1234.MAP - for the first Heroes, Map_0346.MX2 - for the second Heroes. You can load them and see all the nuances of the maps. ;)

IV. Determining the winner.
1. The winner of each map will receive a virtual prize in the form of a banner in the profile and under the avatar:
- for Heroes of Might and Magic 1. 
- for Heroes of Might and Magic 2
2. The player who scores the most experience with the best hero (ExpHMM1+ExpHMM2) in both games will receive a special award in the profile and under the avatar:
- Best of the Best!
