Here's what kind of creatures you should be giving to the Sylvan faction, not Inferno dragons with a face ban.
So, is a golden card with Storm 8 not enough for you? XD And what don't you like about the face ban? Even Bahamut can't handle it. Do you understand that you only need to deal one hit to win? That's pretty good. By that time, the opponent will have run out of removals and eviscerates, or they won't have enough to remove the second or third anomaly. Unlike Bahamut, it can attack the face without any problems, and you can easily eliminate any weak creature (the opponent's last resort). Of course, you won't often attack the face directly with its ability. Mostly, the opponent will stall on their turn when they see that they have nothing to defend with.
Inferno dragon
It has, by the way, the best stats among the 8-cost creatures, and better than most 9-10-cost creatures...
To bait out all the removals and evasions, you'll need to spend twenty turns throwing random spells just to annoy the opponent. By that time, you'll have enough time to deal one hit with some forgotten fairy or even a top-decked cockroach. On the arena, however, with a 95% probability, the anomaly will be a killing blow, but the elf on the arena is just weak and I suspect the situation won't change much. You need very strong control to push the anomaly through to the opponent's face, and I'm not sure it's worth it, and it might be easier to use other win conditions. I would have already started crafting clowns and bolts if it weren't for Roland's amulet and the strength test – judging by the text, it affects not only followers but also spells. As I wrote before, I think that clown + Rosie is a more reliable win condition than the anomaly. If other forest dwellers come to the same conclusions, I predict a pixie paradise in the meta. Also, I'm very worried that the warden will turn out to be much worse than we imagine. With so many counters to storms and wardens, it will probably be slightly better than Zeus and maybe even better than Albert (who comes out a round earlier), but it might still not be good enough.
Listening to the Japanese voice acting for the cards, I'm cracking up. I can't shake the feeling that the quickblade says "Don't cause trouble!", the ghost says "Don't smoke!", and there are similar funny lines with other cards.
Ah yes. My knowledge of Japanese was enough to question the accuracy of the translation of some phrases. I checked using a couple of key words that I learned after watching Sailor Moon; and indeed, they are not always present in the English translation. Either something is off, or perhaps it's just a universal phenomenon. Ah yes. If an angel is referred to as a "boy," then WHY ON EARTH is he also wearing a breastplate?!
As I wrote before, I think that Cloak + Rosie is a more reliable win condition than Anomaly. If other Sylvans come to the same conclusion, I predict a Pixie paradise in the meta.
However, everyone is playing with Silverbolt. What prevents them from playing with Rosie right now? Most likely, it's because it's easier to kill an enemy with two bolts or finish them off with one than to "sweat for twenty turns" gathering fairies from randomly appearing generators and then wait for Rosie or Wolf. And in general, you have a specific idea of control. The gameplay consists of clearing the board with a Fork against an agro deck; it can't break through you, spends all its cards, and concedes, or you trade two creatures with another late-game player, crush them if you dominate, and they concede/lose, and you simply polish off the game with your win condition, leaving them no chance. It rarely happens that you play it and they immediately concede; it's almost only with Bahamut, lol. Or, if it's something prolonged like Satan/Seraph/Mordekai/Polyphon, you play it at the right moment so that it starts working as early as possible. In this regard, Anomaly is super-ideal - if a player loses control of the board and can't remove it (and what can actually remove it in this game, from what people play? Units, evolution (it's just not very relevant by turn eight and with a 8-8 creature), Dance, Themis, a couple of Shadow Stalkers. People don't seem to be afraid of playing with large creatures just because they will always be killed immediately(((( ), then you win, and all their subsequent struggles and unpleasant topdecks no longer have any legal force. And it only costs eight mana; you don't have to wait "twenty turns." And what you described is more like an overloaded combo deck, where you spend those twenty turns gathering fairies in your hand from a bunch of generators, trying not to lose, and then wait for Rosie or Cloak in order to... Get a few Crimson Sorcerers for 2 mana? It's easier to assemble a combo with Discard Dragon, and even then, its win rate is minus a hundred. You're just still affected by the experience with Roach, which, also being a combo deck, forces you to collect garbage as a puzzle from the entire deck to win. But control plays differently. That's just how I see it.
Oh yeah. If the Angel of Words is a guy, then WHY IS HE ALSO WEARING A CHESTPLATE?!
It's just a breastplate!!! (on the chest, one, common, regardless of gender!)
Alright, death to all! Every enemy is a sword, and every game is an amulet. I won't kill anyone in fewer than five hits! I'll be destroying this amulet with Bah, even without aiming specifically at it, banishing with lightning, destroying his entire board, and tearing off his face. How are you planning to have fun?
Either the skis aren't working, or I don't see any particularly strong followers besides Bah.
The skis aren't working. There are tons of strong followers – play against Haven, Dragon, Control-Sword, Control-Vampire, Satan, Sahalucis...
Oh yes, how could I forget about the Dragon Genesis on turn 10? Probably because on the tenth turn, the dragon doesn't waste time on trivial things and just unleashes its full power. It's a pity that Sylvan doesn't have such a luxury.
