In Star Crusade, they initially promised to introduce a card trading system, but it never materialized. Instead, they added another interesting feature: the ability to purchase weekly cards for credits (similar to rupees). Each week, you could get one random rare, epic, and paragon (legendary) card for a decent, but manageable price. If it weren't for the poor online experience (sometimes taking 5 minutes or longer to find an opponent) and the strange interface changes, I might still be playing.

Runecraft has been on the list of discussions for us for some time. Where the balancing of Runecraft has been such a large topic for players (not just here on the forums, but Steam, Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit) it requires additional time to assess that feedback. I assure you that it hasn't dropped off our radar; we've definitely been listening.

This is part of the reason I was hesitant to start playing Shadowverse. My parents set my older brother's Pokemon collection ablaze when he was a kid, and they set my MtG cards on fire about a year ago. Even playing something like "Warlock" in HS is risky, because they think that I'm practicing "witchcraft." I can imagine having a sexy demon would be worse, lmao. But at a glance, HS is much less conspicuous than Shadowverse. Usually, you don't have enough time to read the card texts as they're being played, but in Shadowverse, they would probably get suspicious just by looking at the icon itself. But thankfully, I can usually just Alt-Tab when they happen to walk in, or just quit the game.

Not great, of course, especially since this was my last game of the tournament, although I wasn't really competing for anything anyway, except maybe to take Vishmaster's place in the middle of the table, but in the end, I remained a low-tier player. It's so sad.

Summing up my personal results in the tournament, I can say that this is pretty much what I expected, as with the "pick two" system, I wasn't playing particularly well even before (I never made it to 5-0 in the arena and was rarely close). However, I do have some noteworthy moments.
For example, I was the only one who managed to lose to Rune. It's not that Morning suddenly had a good Rune deck in the arena or anything like that, but I was doing very, very badly, both when creating the deck and during the game; the random element really had its fun. In principle, the same can be said about our third match, but there I had a normal deck, with Mordecai and other cool stuff, but the game just wanted to make it so that I had nothing to play on turns 5 and 6! That decided the outcome.

And also, returning to the results, I was the only one who managed to lose to both girls :o I don't even know what played a bigger role here - my own mistakes, the will of the great random element, or the inexplicable power of female logic and intuition.

Oh, and also, so far, only I have managed to defeat Revan the Vampire. But Locken and Tox can still fix that.

I will be looking forward to the final battles with interest, and for now, I would like to thank Revan for organizing the tournament and all the participants. Maybe I'll join another tournament on HW sometime
