PS – What's the distortion? That on weekends people might have other things to do/entertainment besides sitting on HeroesWorld? Or is it that if you didn't manage to vote, that's your problem? 4-5 days is the bare minimum for everyone interested to have time to check the thread and express support for one option or another, so Kostya's option until the 15th seems the most optimal to me.

P.S. There's a 90% chance I won't be attending the CIS event (the only place that sparked my interest for the May holidays was Sochi, but it's been cancelled). However, I'd like to wish all future organizers not to turn the CIS event into a drinking party for old friends, but to attract new participants and viewers.

Haven, everything is fine, but the viewer should also pay a pre-entry fee, otherwise bots with zero posts will flock here (as in one well-known vote below) and spoil the overall picture.

In this case, there is no such option. I mean, there's no way to immediately announce that there isn't. You buy an extra vote, and you won't get your money back.
