In my opinion, the Swiss system was exactly what was needed. There was enough time to make moves and wait for the slower players, and the intrigue lasted until the very end of the tournament. I personally enjoyed playing, except for the game against GL (which I started in a tense state), who disappeared, and as it turned out today (when I received a bunch of messages for the past week), his ICQ was malfunctioning. My public apologies to Boris for any harsh words in the chat.

You say that Will created the problems. (I didn't even play with Will in this tournament.)
And I say that the problems were created by those players who registered but didn't play a single game, didn't write a single post in the tournament thread, except for their registration. (That's exactly the kind of players I encountered, but you seem to have been lucky - you didn't cross paths with bot-like players who were deliberately trying to affect the outcome).

So, GL is a real player; you just had a connection issue. In the end, you played the match. You even apologized for your harsh words (but where would those words come from? There were no problems).

Who won, Vil or Dex? I'm taking bets)

Vitaly, what do bets have to do with it?! Or did you decide to make some money on a betting site? :D
But seriously, according to the tournament rules, Dexter won.

Actually, I didn't write this for no reason.
While preliminarily summarizing the results, I encountered some interesting things related to the Buchholz coefficient; we haven't been calculating it correctly until now:o

What does Buchholz have to do with it if you specified Berger in the rules? :p
The real question is that Berger doesn't work with the Swiss system, but that's a completely different story! :D
