And in the second season, they didn't even bother with the atmosphere; it's done in a completely different style. There, only the character of the mafia boss is interesting to watch; the rest don't evoke any sympathy or interest. One of them even had their storyline cut short instead of being properly concluded. But I remember the songs in the bar were pretty good.

Just out of boredom (it started raining, and I needed to find somewhere to wait for about 3 hours), I went to the cinema to check out the new "Star Wars."

Well, what can I say?
The guys put together a good expedition. Almost like Revan's.
It would have been even better if those planets were also destroyed by the main characters, and not by some random NPCs. Then it would have been completely in line with the canon :)
Overall, it's quite watchable. Definitely better and more epic than the mess that was Episode 7.

well, it’s just a spin-off.
It only relates to the saga through its name and setting. And that’s it.
It looks like a solid expansion for the Star Wars universe with 3D graphics.
It’s clear that Lucas wasn’t involved; it has a completely different feel. IMHO, the fact that it’s not associated with the saga is actually a plus in this case.
As I said, it’s worth watching, especially in 3D. The battles are epic, there’s a plot, and the characters are well-developed and diverse (there’s even a robot as a character, not just as the property of one of the main characters).

Ha! I liked it even more when I was so overwhelmed with work that I spent half an hour trying to open the building's entrance door with my apartment key! That was quite a scene!

I also decided to go see Star Wars in the evening. It seems like it's been out for a while, and I didn't expect a huge buzz for our local cinema, but apparently, the holidays did their job, and the place was packed. Pushy, rude mothers with screaming children pushing through the line, giggling teenagers spilling Fanta and sweet popcorn on the floor, uncouth guys with flasks of боярышник hidden under their jackets, shouting, swearing, crying – in short, the usual atmosphere for ordinary people in an ordinary country, yeah. After finding my seat in the hall, I was already a bit disappointed because I wasn't expecting much from the movie (and some jerk was trying to steal my mineral water from the armrest, but he failed his dexterity check, mumbled an apology under his breath, and didn't bother me for the rest of the screening). As for the movie itself, I was pleasantly surprised because I liked it. Significantly better than the previous disaster. I wouldn't call it a separate episode of the saga; rather, it's a very good standalone film, filled with its own atmosphere, battles, plot, jokes, and music. Of course, not everything was done perfectly, but overall, I was satisfied. The amazing scene in Syria, the connecting finale, the clarification of inaccuracies in the plot of the main six episodes – this film, although a bit long, had everything necessary. And if I see a continuation of this series in the future, it will only be in works of this kind, without a happy ending, without inventing new Death Stars, lightsabers, emperors, etc. In short, I enjoyed it and asked for more. 8.37/10 And on the way back, I slipped on the road and scraped my arm badly on the asphalt covered with chunks of ice.

Louis de Funès and French cinema in general are unparalleled, as always. An excellent comedy.

A big and kind giant.



As a rule, I don't go to just any mediocre movies; I downloaded it and decided to watch. I read somewhere that it took 25 years to film. Basically, the plot is this: a sadistic girl, without parents, and possibly under the influence of some substances, ends up in the land of giants. There were evil, huge giants all around, and one small, nerdy giant who, as it turned out, was actually kind. The girl's incredible audacity and legal knowledge were irritating throughout the film. I would have eaten her if I were that giant. Fortunately, there were also evil giants. In any case, these characters somehow ended up in the center of London, where they were successfully neutralized by "muscle," consisting of members of an anti-terrorist group, "swat," as well as flying haloperidol. And that's the end of the story. Overall, it's nonsense.

You might as well download Teletubbies with a saucepan.
