Dear ladies and gentlemen, the city of Volgograd, a city of heroes, proudly presents its application to host the CIS 2017 event for your consideration.

Accordingly, the Dendroids Foundation traditionally adds to the prize pool of the competition - full payment of the trip (travel, accommodation, group meals, tournament fee) to the next CIS event for the Champion.

I will briefly describe the place where the event is planned to be held.
The Park Club "Dubrovsky" is located in the Sredneakhtubinsky district (Volga-Akhtuba floodplain), near the village of Veliky Oktyabr. The cottages are located in a shady oak grove. A small river flows nearby. 22 km from the city center (20-25 minutes by car)
So, Park Club "Dubrovsky" is a place where everything is created so that guests spend time not only with pleasure but also with benefit! This is facilitated by:
— wooden log cabins with terraces on the bank of the creek, cozy townhouses and modern "Standard" and "Deluxe" rooms;
— equipped conference rooms for holding events of various themes;
— a cozy park cafe with home-style cuisine "Dubrava";
— children's playgrounds; sports grounds and a football field;
— a Russian bath with all the necessary attributes;
— free Wi-Fi in all corners of the park club; spacious parking; sandy beach.
We pay special attention to outdoor activities! For those who like activity, we offer:

Conference Hall, Internet:

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the territory. A dedicated business line with high speed can be provided directly in the conference hall, but it is paid (5,000 rubles per day).

After negotiations, the following results were achieved:
We are provided with a luxurious Conference Hall, which is divided into three zones (the conference hall itself can accommodate 70-80 people), a dining area, tables, a kitchen, etc., a meeting room (ideally suited for poker), equipment for the conference hall, a dedicated business line for the Internet). All this is provided for 24-hour use, with a separate entrance, the premises are beautiful, bright, and new.
The cost of all this magnificence: 17,500 rubles per day

A festive banquet is planned: The cost is 2500 rubles per person, excluding alcohol, you can bring your own. The banquet menu is attached.
Also, we will receive a 25% discount on all types of additional services for the entire duration of our stay.

It is better to rent cottages, as the standard rooms are really expensive, but they are worth it, they have been officially assigned a 4-star level, and believe me, these are real four stars.
The entire base is new, just built, everything is made of glass and wood, plastic is almost absent. The territory is huge and simply luxurious, located right in the oak grove!!!

I'm looking at the fence of the football field and I see Albert lying next to it, drunk))) it brings back so many memories.

Generally, 7 days of gameplay is a bit too much. 6 days would be enough. Plus, an extra day before departure for those who want to go on excursions and other activities.

As you correctly noted above, the price varies depending on the days of the stay.
Regarding the conference hall, the price will naturally be lower than the one listed in the price list.
Meals: breakfast is included in the room rate, and it is possible to order set lunches and dinners (the cost can be tailored to our needs, depending on our budget).

The dates should be those for which the absolute majority voted in Merlin's poll; this is obvious. You already indicated them in the first post. ;)

We know this minimum, but as soon as they sit down at the poker table, thousands just disappear))) Well, that's just a thought that came to mind...
The cheapest room can vary; if you live alone, it's one price (high), if you live with someone else, it's another, if you rent a cottage for four/eight, the cost is even lower, and so on. And the same applies to the number of days of stay, and as a rule, most people come for the entire event, while locals usually hang out for a couple of days and then leave.
And the calculation should be made for the entire cycle, and for those who come for a shorter period, the calculation is made individually, based on the accommodation conditions and the remaining room availability.

An example from personal experience: Players X and Y arrive on May 6th and want to live together, so they book a double room for 3000, but player Y leaves on May 11th, while player X plans to stay until May 13th. Until May 11th, the cost for each will be 1500, but after May 11th, it changes, and therefore something has to be figured out, people have to be moved around, and so on. And there are a lot of such nuances. And everyone tells you, but you stated a minimum, so why is the amount increasing?))))
