I've listened to all of Sektor Gaza's albums and still consider them one of the best Russian bands, if not the best! And what's being played on the Russian music scene now is complete garbage and impossible to listen to compared to Sektor Gaza!

As for the movie, yes, but the “gas sector”… it’s a failed parody of the Sex Pistols (the same slums, the same songs – there’s even lyrical overlap with the Pistols, about the relationship between him and his wife, Nancy, the same amateur musicians, the same poor riffs, the same drugs, the same ideology) – this list could go on forever… Let the fans of this band forgive me; there are many of them, and I even respect them, but I can’t come to terms with the plagiarism.

the movie has all (or almost all) the songs, and the songs are good, although I don't listen to them (my brother does)... but what about Sektor Gaza... <_<
I love Sector! I can listen to their music. And by the way, that's all I listen to from Russian bands. Otherwise, I love all kinds of Metal, especially German Metal :) I don't like punk rock. KRuGeR1991 I don't like all of Sector's songs either (especially the lyrics), but they have their own themes (the latest album, and a couple of dozen other songs). My favorite is Life. And all that farting and stuff...
I started listening to Sektor Gaza in 6th grade, first the foul-mouthed chastushkas, then everything else... by 10th grade I moved on to Lirika. Favorite songs: Burned Witch, Dirty Blood, Lirika, Afterlife Love, Fog, Plan, Take the Blame, Delirium Tremens, Vampire's Bite, Holy War, Cossack, Mother-in-law, Major, Jawa, I'm Tired, Masturbation, Go Wild Man, Homeless, Jawa, Shchi, Night Before Christmas, Kuma, Star Sickness, same old night, Time to go home... overall it's a Super group. Generally when everything is f*cking me over, or I'm really tired, or something in life isn't working out, or just feels sh*tty, I listen to this group; you can't imagine how it lifts the mood, after that I simply gain strength... I'll tell you a secret, you have to actually listen to this music - This is NOT POP! I advise you to listen... you feel the real Russian power.

In general, when everything gets annoying, or I'm very tired, or something isn't working out in life, or I'm just feeling down, I listen to this group, and you can't imagine how much it lifts my spirits; after that, I just feel stronger... Two out of the three bands that I like the most – I've been listening to them for a very long time, and they still don't get old. For complete happiness, personally for me, I'm still missing Alice.

I started listening to Sektor Gaza in 1995, and I still haven't gotten tired of it; it's simply amazing! It's my favorite band! I greatly respect and love the work of Tsoi, but I like Sektor even more. I especially love to sing along to the songs of these bands while playing the guitar.
