Ah, now I understand that I was lucky that the pikemen were on the left, and the serpent on the right. Since the nomad then took the place of the pikemen, i.e., to the left. If the organizers had initially placed the pikemen to the right of the serpent, I doubt I would have succeeded :eek:

Oh... too bad - I didn't know about the "switch places" option :( I tried and tried, but I always ran out of moves. :( Boo hoo...

Well, it was a great training tournament!!!!! Thank you! Seriously... despite my terrible result ;) At least now I'll know... :)

2 Kyle - when will ALL the descriptions of at least the 1st round be available? You promised to post them.
I think this would be a real "Heroes school". I suggest creating a whole section for this. And write something like this there: "Topic 1: ally. Task: speed of heroes", "Topic 2: task on logistics". Upload already completed saves (starting ones) and descriptions (and saves) of people who have already completed this. That's it...

to kamikaze: it seems you're not the only one with this issue; fanata probably has the same problem, as you both have the same amount of gold! Or maybe he just didn't have enough turns; I, for example, almost completed it on auto-battle and performed the worst, that's how it is.

Amber just dropped a grenade (I'm talking about the map for Blitz 3) on those who complained about the apparent simplicity of the Blitz tournament maps. I'd even say it wasn't a grenade, but an atomic bomb... :) There you go, esteemed participants of the Blitz tournament! ;)

Dear Tournament Participants,
1) As you may have noticed, the third stage is "slightly" more difficult than the previous ones. Also, if you look at the calendar, you can see that it is now May... which means it's time for sessions, theses, graduations, or entrance exams, etc.
Therefore, if you want, we can extend the deadline for the third stage by another week, i.e., until June 6th.
I would like to hear your thoughts... should we or shouldn't we extend the third stage?
The final decision on this matter will be made on Monday, i.e., May 28th.

I'm all for it... as for the second stage, I was one step away from the oasis, but it wasn't enough (I tried two different approaches)... and I completely forgot about the pool – that it restores health once after a battle... I haven't seen the third stage yet – I just don't have time.

I don't think we should wait until Monday to decide whether to extend the third stage. :D
The third stage of the tournament will be extended until June 6 (inclusive, up to 24:00 Moscow time!). The results will be published on June 11, 2007.
