We are all familiar with the concept of 'procrastination'. In short, procrastination is the act of postponing or ignoring important tasks, instead dedicating time to activities that one finds enjoyable. It's possible that this is one of the reasons for dissatisfaction with life for many of us, but that's not what we're going to talk about. I've noticed that I'm simply wasting time. That is, I'm spending time aimlessly, without even entertaining myself. If I'm reading something, watching something, or playing a game, it's a pleasant (usually) way to spend time, but sometimes time just slips away. This can include meaningless actions like "checking social media" (more often than necessary, considering that the flow of new messages is not so great), scrolling through websites (I've observed others doing the same with news feeds on social media), simply surfing the internet, saving pictures, etc.

Are many of you familiar with this feeling?

I think everyone here is familiar with this. If not, then such people should be banned and kicked out of the forum.
I try to minimize this, including with the help of a list of tasks that I need to complete during the day. It helps somewhat.

At least these three should be completed properly every day.

How many of you are familiar with this feeling?

Oh, absolutely! When there's a major deadline looming, and I need to complete a large and/or complex task, I end up getting sidetracked online. Or I might spend hours in the kitchen preparing something elaborate – after all, I have plenty of time! Or I'll get engrossed in some other task, anything but the one I actually need to do. I have to resort to all sorts of tricks, like scheduling my tasks by the hour. However, after the deadline (whether it's successful or not, the main thing is that it's somehow over), everything returns to normal :D

Procrastinators procrastinated and procrastinated, but ultimately couldn't procrastinate their way out of it.

I'm having a bit of a problem with the comic right now. I realized that I can finish a page in two and a half days, so I'm not starting until Friday. There was a time when I would finish one page and immediately start drawing the next, but now I always wait until the last minute. It's easier for me to do it at the last moment than in advance, because the work will take all the allotted time anyway, and whether it's a week or two days, it's just details.

I think all HeroesWorld regulars are familiar with this, albeit to varying degrees. Otherwise, they wouldn't be sitting here. :o
