In my opinion, the Ent should be faster, and noticeably so... Read Tolkien - his Ents were quite fast; they certainly outpaced any pedestrian!

For some reason, I can't open the images from the first post... :( How am I supposed to appreciate them?:smile32:
Then you will be able to check it out directly in the game
I like how they run, and they're stylish in general, but the old version's beard is ridiculous; the alternative one is better.
But why does the Ent (well, dendroid) in Heroes of Might and Magic III look so much like the one in Lord of the Rings?
"Why does the Ent from Lord of the Rings look so much like the dendroid in Heroes of Might and Magic III?"
That would be historically accurate... ;)
I think this question should be rephrased as:
"But why does Ent from Lord of the Rings look so much like a dendroid in Heroes 3?"
That would be historically accurate... ;)
Although, on the other hand, this is a rather classic representation of a walking tree... Of course, you can always talk about plagiarism... But on the other hand, I can't imagine either of them in a better form :)

Oh...yuck...I won't be putting paladins on this. =)))
But...how would you, for example, name what's sticking out of its mouth?
From your point of view, what is it?
It's foliage that it ate, but apparently didn't digest. ))
P.S. It's just foliage.

Horrible...
P.S. But seriously, I like the Ents from the beta more... they look more like trees.
