The guys from St. Petersburg, after practicing with m200, organized a fantastic CIS tournament – they found a great location in a pine forest and took care of everyone, providing accommodation, meals, and drinks. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of new faces – the streams have definitely brought a fresh perspective to the Heroes community. A special thank you to Rebel for his contribution to the development of Heroes – I hope that hiros3tv will continue to develop as a unifying portal for Heroes players and viewers. Dustik, don't disappear, we still need to go fishing in August if you don't change your mind!

I was very happy to see everyone again and meet new people; I hope to meet again in a year. I got a huge boost of positive emotions, and a special thank you for the birthday wishes – now I have autographs from the CIS participants ;) It's a pity we didn't manage to take a walk around St. Petersburg on our free day. Scorp and I walked along Nevsky Prospekt before leaving, and we at least got to see a small part of it – it's beautiful (we should come back again if we have the chance).
Thanks to everyone for participating. We did our best, but of course, there were some mistakes. I was glad to see many new faces, whom I previously only knew from online communication. I will write more details and post a lot of photos in about 5 days, when I return from Moscow.
I finally made it to my destination :D I'm very happy to have made new acquaintances and it was nice to meet old friends again. Even though almost all the organizers were terrible, the organization was a solid 4 out of 5. Thank you all very much, I hope to see you at the next CIS event!

I was tempted to join the CIS trip by the conversations on Twitch with Hell and other streamers, and I felt a wave of nostalgia for the late 90s and early 2000s, which I spent in various clubs.
Romantic connected me with Zadira, who was driving from Moscow, and we hit the road. Zadira is Vova-chuma from Irakli's song!
Audi S coupe, on the new toll road at night, we reached speeds of up to 262 km/h. In the morning, we were in Aurora, and by lunchtime, almost everyone had arrived.
The guys who came were great, but that didn't stop them; they started drinking even before they had settled in. With Vigo, we went to check out the sauna, and then I remember we gathered in the conference room. There, Num was having a blast, almost finishing off the tequila I brought.
In the evening, there was a poker tournament. I think it was my best game; I made it to the final with a good stack of chips, but Matrosoff knocked me out, and then I became short-stacked. When I got pocket cards, Ilyich took me out, and I finished the game. Boo-hoo.
Merlin, while dealing at the final table, was reading people faster than I was. I was just starting to think, and he was already talking about the same thing.
The next day, the Heroes tournament began. I tried not to interfere with anyone or distract them from the game.
What can I say: everyone has very high skill, and determining who is the champion in terms of skill shouldn't be done in this format.
In my opinion, any of the 7 people who placed 2nd or 3rd could have become the champion because a small difference in class was offset by randomness.

I really wanted to find people who remember Dilvisha and Chaos personally, who were very strong players in the early 2000s, and I knew them personally.
It turned out that the St. Petersburg guys, Horn, Kobra, and Matrosoff, remember them. I stood with Kobra for a long time, reminiscing about those times.
Regarding the organization: everything was fine. Merlin diversified the cultural program, and I want to thank him very much for that.
Merlin's brain ring was a great success, especially the final, mind-bending questions. And the Pikemen were memorable, I think, for everyone.
A huge thank you to the organizers and Dust for the barbecue. By the way, the sunflower oil in Dust's recipe was surprising; thank you, Lesha, for the lesson; I hadn't encountered that before.
The place is very beautiful; if it weren't for the hosts' poor and expensive food, everything would have been perfect.
