I was tempted to go on the CIS trip by chatting with Hell and other streamers on Twitch, and I felt nostalgic for the late 90s and early 2000s, which I spent in various clubs.
Romantic introduced me to Zadira, who was driving from Moscow, and we hit the road. Zadira is Vova-chuma from Irakli's song!
Audi S coupe, on the new toll road at night, we reached speeds of up to 262 km/h. In the morning, we were in Aurora, and by lunchtime, almost everyone had arrived.
The guys who came were really cool, but that didn't stop anyone; they started drinking even before they had settled in properly. With Vigo, we went to check out the sauna, and then I remember we gathered in the conference room. There, Num was having a blast, almost finishing off the tequila I brought.
In the evening, there was a poker tournament. I think it was my best game; I made it to the final with a good stack of chips, but Matrosoff knocked me out, and then I became short-stacked, and when the pocket cards came, Ilyich took me out, and I finished the game. Boo-hoo.
Merlin, while dealing at the final table, was reading people faster than I was; I was just starting to think, and he was already talking about the same thing.

The next day, the Heroes tournament began, and I tried not to interfere with anyone or distract them from the game.
What can I say: everyone has very high skill, and determining who is the champion in terms of skill shouldn't be done in this format.
In my opinion, any of the 7 people who placed 2nd or 3rd could have become the champion because a small difference in class was offset by randomness.

I really wanted to find guys who remember Dilvisha and Chaos personally, who were very strong players in the early 2000s, and I knew them personally.
It turned out that the St. Petersburg guys Horn, Kobra, and Matrosoff remember them. I stood with Kobra for a long time, reminiscing about those times.

Regarding the organization: everything was fine; Merlin diversified the cultural program, and I'm very grateful to him for that.
Merlin's brain ring was a great success, especially the final, mind-bending questions. And the Pikemen were memorable, I think, for everyone.

A huge thank you to the organizers and Dust for the barbecue. By the way, in Dust's recipe, I was surprised by the sunflower oil; thank you, Lesha, for the lesson; I hadn't encountered that before.

The place is very beautiful; if it weren't for the hosts' poor and expensive food, everything would have been perfect.

Thank you all for the conversation; I got a lot of pleasure from the trip. I especially remember the cynical humor of Merlin, Oxy, Dirty, and Horn.
