Please help, for goodness sake! :)))
Basically, the problem is this: in Heroes 5 1.0, the keyboard is not recognized as a way to change things.
We're not even talking about the console, but neither ESC nor the spacebar works. I've already broken my head over it, but to no avail. Help me if you can. It's inconvenient to use only one key. The game is a licensed version. The keyboard is too, I think.

I found the solution myself - the input.cfg file in the folder with my profile was empty for some reason. But the same file in the default_profile folder exists. I copied it. And now there are no problems! And life in the world of magic and swords continues!!! :) In case anyone else has the same problem...

It's just unclear why input.cfg turned out to be empty. This file can be adjusted (but carefully). A friend had a problem with the "W" key not working because he spilled something on his keyboard. I reassigned the "Wait" command to a working key for him.

Good question :) But the file was empty – that’s a fact! Although the game is a licensed version – there’s nowhere else to go. Apparently, anything can happen. I wonder what will happen to them after installing Hammers of Fate? They are also licensed!!!
