Dealt well, collected Dragon Fly Hives, spotted the opponent's scout hero — went with my own scout hero on a dragon to scout. Found an observation post from which 2 Griffin Conservatories, a Castle, a ring for HP, and boots for speed are visible. Miner and Dessa were eating treasure zones, while at the same time the heroic scout hero, fleeing from all of Preds's troops, first took the ring, and then the boots. Immediately defeated him, passed the boots to Dessa, stood on the speed boost to reach the Castle village, which the opponent had already taken.
As I planned, Preds was lured to the Griffin Conservatories, and I reached Dessa to the Castle, bought Miner (with logistics) there, and killed everything that was there on the speed boost. In my excitement, I didn't position myself very well and allowed Nelle to escape on the first Gargoyle.
Afterwards, I took the Dragon Utopia, moved through the views towards the opponent — then a surrender.

Quite a dismal surrender—I was cut off by roads from the general part of the map, so I slowly collected my 2 treasures along incredibly long roads. Found КВ, drowned.

On 141, I decided to upgrade ducks in the opponent's castle, the swamp, which Bayazet had captured. I take him with a spoon via Dimension Door, and there stands a zero Taz with 5 Hydras and no money for ransom. I kill this thing, and soon follows the surrender.

This is just awful. An absolutely unplayable game where I spent 2 weeks struggling to get out of the starting area through rough terrain. There were no chances at all. It seems that because of the generator's tricks, I lost hope of getting 1st place :(

I'll start with the backstory... The draw was entrusted to Alex, or more precisely, he was to pull the cards. I no longer had a chance of taking 1st place, but there were 3 people with 4 points, and I could play against the 3rd CIS champion, so I was shouting something like "give me Gelu" and I got him )

The next day, when I woke up, I realized I was sick, I felt really terrible (and not from alcohol, strangely enough). After every turn I went outside to cough, and in general I was trying my hardest to pull myself together and do at least something.

Not long after the game started, Lizard won in a pair against Mizrael.
That is, if I won, Lizard would become the champion after this round. At that very moment, everyone started rooting for Gelu, even those who had bet that he wouldn't be the CIS champion ) And honestly, I myself was kind of rooting for him a bit )) But I decided I wouldn't throw the game, unlike some people ) I'd play as best I could. Now about the game:

We were randomized so that I got Ivor with 10 Elves and one native hero in the tavern. Without thinking long, I sent Kyrre in one direction with Grand Elves and centaurs, and Ivor with Grand Elves in the other. Ivor hit a block but scouted 2 Dragon Utopias in the corner treasure zone. At home, centaurs in the Citadel. On 121 I decided to exchange to 0, hoping for fast yolo Dragon Utopias.

On 122 I took the 1st Dragon Fly Hive, then 2 Griffin Conservatories (3+1) on the computer's respawn. Since there were 3 external dwellings of dwarves, I decided to go to the Dragon Utopias by the start of week 3. On 132 Kyrre got defeated — I went to the Dragon Fly Hive next to the Dragon Utopia, took it, and there was also a box of 50 dwarves — total 130 )))
No Earth magic, I had Water and Air, I sacrificed meat in the Dragon Utopia but took it without major losses, I think — got the 5th level spell Cape. Then another 2 Dragon Utopias — they gave absolutely nothing, well, maybe Wings.

Since my condition was worsening exponentially, I decided to go at the opponent, picking up 1 more Dragon Utopia on the way (max with nothing).

I set up chains to take Gelu's Castle through Dimension Door with scout heroes.

It seemed that 20 minutes of timer would be enough, but no )) I only went with Angels — captured 3 castles, scouted, mowed down scout heroes, I could have used a scout hero through 2 Dimension Doors to ferry the main army, but based on the timer I realized I could only kill Kyrre and pass the Angels, hoping Gelu wouldn't reach them.

On the last second I unequip the Cape of Silence, but didn't have time to put on the 5th level spell hat.

Gelu attacks, thinking I have the Cape of Silence with 12 mana. After a small exchange, he retreats. Then he attacks with a scout hero-mage with mana. I only have Water Elemental summon: we kill each other off.

Time to dig with Kyrre, I have 60k — let's go. Unexpectedly fast, in about 10 heroes I dig it up, bring the meat, see daddy Gundula with Shackles of War — game over.
