Guys, what about a big gathering on the 30th?
Is anything big planned?

People of St. Petersburg, does anyone have at least a rough idea of what the traffic will be like on the 30th? We're planning to drive from Moscow, but we haven't decided on the departure time yet. We suspect that the 30th will have terrible traffic, so we'd like to hear what the best time would be to arrive in St. Petersburg to either avoid the traffic or at least minimize the time spent in it. We'll plan our departure time from Moscow based on that.
Roma suggested that it would take about 3 hours to drive, but I'm interested in the opinions of others.
P.S. We could arrive in St. Petersburg at 6 a.m., but is that necessary? Or we could arrive between 2 and 3 p.m. The main thing is to reduce the time spent in traffic, as we'll already be driving for many hours, and being stuck in traffic will just make it worse.

Is the Saturday before the May holidays more or less free? When will everyone be traveling to their vacation spots? I'm not sure at all.

Regarding traffic, I'll say that we don't live in Moscow, so you can divide everything by three. There is traffic in the center and on the ring road during peak hours: 8-10 am, and from 5-7 pm. But since the 30th is a Saturday, everything should be more or less free!

Real Heroes always take detours! Maybe we shouldn't even enter the city?

Or is it suggested to drive along the КАD to Kronstadt and then exit towards Sestroretsk? I don't know the roads in St. Petersburg, so I wrote the route based purely on the map.

Maybe someone could bring a lie detector to the tournament to check if the players are watching the streams or not?

The latest time to meet at the train station is 2 PM Moscow time, or at the airport. After that, you'll have to get there on your own (we'll, of course, advise you on the best way to do it, but it's probably easier to do it with everyone) :)
