As everyone knows, Heroes 3 successfully outlived the fourth installment in the series and even continued in Homm 3.5x.

Yes, but the legend might be forgotten, because if Heroes 5 is successful, and Heroes 3 will only be played out of nostalgia... and not many will do that....:(

Nah, that's a plus, and besides, what kind of game would it be if heroes just ran away and escaped... I think a hero should either be defeated or defeat someone, not just run away and get away with it! That's why I really appreciate the "Chains of War" mechanic!!!

Now that Heroes of Might and Magic V is out, it seems people are still playing Heroes 3. Everyone is playing the 5th installment now. Even people have stopped visiting the forum section dedicated to Heroes 3! Draw your own conclusions! Heroes V is the best in the series!!!:D :D :D

Man against man. That's something else, a game of wits, self-destruction, and so on.
Unfortunately, we tried playing Heroes IV online a couple of times, but it glitched a couple of times, and that was it, we didn't try again.
But tournament play is probably incredibly interesting and just as time-consuming, as the computer makes its moves a little faster :).
