Posts from Technical issues and problems with WoGa.
I have the following problem: version 3.58, fully patched, but when I exit the game after playing for about 4 hours, and then enter the game again, settings such as SOUND, VIDEO QUALITY + SOME GAME SETTINGS are not saved. How do I fix this problem (please help), because I'm tired of configuring everything from scratch every time!!!!
It is difficult to determine the cause immediately. Perhaps it was a buggy version of SoD that WoG was installed on, or other add-ons were not removed.
You can also check the exe file and uncheck all boxes in the compatibility tab. Sometimes the video card does not support compatibility parameters. Or maybe there is simply not enough RAM!
Please help! I have the SoD disc, and I installed version 3.58 + the Russian language pack. I followed all the instructions here:
http://geglov3.narod.ru/index111.htm
As a result: the maps that came with the disc work, but all the downloaded maps don't launch – when loading, a window with an error appears (you click "OK," and another one appears, and so on, many times), and then the game closes completely. What's the reason?
Also, after installing the expansion, a WOG button appeared, but it's not active.
Hello everyone!
Please help! I have the SoD disc, and I installed version 3.58 + the Russian language pack. I did everything as described here:

Все люди - братья, но в каждом из нас спит волк.
I didn't do anything else. The game launches, everything seems to be set up correctly, and I can play. However, some stripes appear on the screen, and sometimes (it seemed to me that it happens with sharp mouse movements)

Actually, the problem might be that you installed the beta version... Try downloading it from our forum; here's the link, and the installation process is described in detail. /files/10043/>
No, I downloaded it from there, the Russian language file is called rubeta358f.zip.
I suspect the problem might be due to DirectX 9.0c or XP SP2.

You don't need to suspect! I have XP SP2 and DirectX 9.0c, and everything works fine!!! It's most likely related to the video card!!! I read it somewhere!
Recently, a friend and I started playing Heroes of Might and Magic over Hamachi. Everything works fine until I attack him in a castle. Out of three attempts to finish the battle (in different scenarios, sometimes I attack him, sometimes he attacks me in the same castle), none were successful. It just shows that his unit is moving, and he sees my unit moving. And that's it.
Could there be a patch, or some settings that need to be adjusted? People play Heroes of Might and Magic online, as far as I know. Or should I install Armageddon's Blade?
Oh, yes, I'm using Windows XP, if that matters.
Thank you.
P.S. I've even seen a similar case where people were playing on Platinum... so, for example, if you load this save file on your computer for two players (e.g., "autosave.GM2"), you can look for inconsistencies...
I had a case where I was looking at a hero's information, and on the Wisdom skill icon, it said "resistance"... and the text was not white, but yellow... and when I clicked any mouse button, the game crashed... although everything else worked normally!!!
P.S.P.S. The
The game freezes during battles. I searched online and couldn't find an answer, although many people have this problem. Windows says that there is not enough virtual memory. Although there is almost 1 GB of memory.
If anyone knows what to do or where to find an answer to this problem, please write in this thread; I would be very grateful, or provide a link if this question has already been discussed.
