That's what a blitz is. In a similar tournament on Wargaming.net, the timer was 600+300, without any extra time added for battles. The point is to find out what players prefer when playing HotA with a short timer and, accordingly, create a "popular" rating of the speed and ease of use of different castles.

With this level of control, the delay compared to the normal pace is about a day or two. And with double the reduction in time per game, the reduction is even greater.

The duration of a typical game (without early losses and with a final battle on the 2nd week) should be around 3 hours. This is great because it transforms Heroes from a multi-hour grind with delays into a very dynamic game, on par with other esports games.

Yes, it's unusual at first, but you get used to it over time. And you realize how much time you used to waste before. At the same time, your late-game skills under time pressure improve, which is very useful for games with normal time control.

Not a fan of Jebus Cross, but with a timer like that it's just right :D I wonder how slow I am :)
