Template: jebus cross, simultaneous turns until turn 117 inclusive.
Game timer: 8+4+1 (in case of mutual transfer - 8+5+1). Can only be changed to a lower value, otherwise the point of the idea is lost.
Game format: bidding for color, after which blue first chooses any Castle and any hero. Red can take the same Castle, but a different hero.
Restarts: 1 restart on day 111. After finishing turn 111, the red player must write to blue: "taking restart" or "not taking restart", after which blue decides whether to take their own restart.
Redraw: allowed.
Using scrolls without building a Mage Guild: allowed.
Sod's restrictions on Necros, Conflux, etc.: cancelled. In particular, you can upgrade Vampires, Firebirds, etc.
Organizers: =Lizard=
Tournament system: Swiss with elimination after 2 losses.
The tournament is unofficial. Creating reports via the button for results to count towards the rating is NOT mandatory. You can just use text, like in the "Fo-Fan games" thread.
8+4+1, you're clearly out of your mind – why not just go straight to autobattles?
That's what a blitz is. In a similar tournament on Wargaming.net, the timer was 600+300, without any extra time added for battles. The point is to find out what players prefer when playing HotA with a short timer and, accordingly, create a "popular" rating of the speed and ease of use of different castles.

With this level of control, the delay compared to the normal pace is about a day or two. And with double the reduction in time per game, the reduction is even greater.
The duration of a typical game (without early losses and with a final battle on the 2nd week) should be around 3 hours. This is great because it transforms Heroes from a multi-hour grind with delays into a very dynamic game, on par with other esports games.
Yes, it's unusual at first, but you get used to it over time. And you realize how much time you used to waste before. At the same time, your late-game skills under time pressure improve, which is very useful for games with normal time control.
Not a fan of Jebus Cross, but with a timer like that it's just right :D I wonder how slow I am :) So as I understand it, you can play with one faction for the whole tournament?
Tournament Information - Tournament start date: 04.01.2016 - Number of participants: 20 - Tournament stage: Registration - Number of remaining players: 20 - Default version: HotA + HDmod + HWrulez - Templates: Jebus Cross
All players need to do the following: 1. Check if your ICQ number is entered in your profile; add it there if it isn't. If it is already in your profile, you will see a small green daisy icon under your avatar – this indicates that you have an ICQ account. If not, follow the algorithm. 2. Submit an application in this thread. To do this, click the Register for the tournament button located at the beginning of this thread. 3. To create a report, click the New Report button, which is located at the top of each page of the thread, and enter all the required fields according to the template. After that, write detailed comments about the game. 4. To confirm the report, the second player needs to find the game report, click the Confirm Report button, and also write a detailed report. 5. It is considered good manners to thank your opponent for the game.
