Exactly what I wanted , thanks! I decided to install the mod again, looked at the heroes, and some even have unique models . I'll probably play a game and see how interesting it is. By the way, can I ask a question? Should I install the mod that replaces creatures in the Necropolis, or not? I think there's another one where only Death Knights replace the undead.
It's better not to install any of these replacement mods, as you need to be sure that the engine will handle these creatures correctly!
There is definitely compatibility with NCF!
If a mod simply replaces the visuals or swaps creatures, then those are fine!
They haven't gotten around to the female demon heroines yet – they're currently working on the dark elves, but in principle, in the next version, all the female demon heroines will be in the form of Biara! :smile02:
Could you provide more details about the dark elves, and is there any work planned on the wood elves?
... И древний лес, роскошен и печален, Блистает там воздушностью прогалин. Но между кедров, полных тишиной, Расщелина по склону ниспадала. О, никогда под бледною луной Так пышен не был тот уют лесной...
Okay, since it's not possible to increase the percentage ratio, I'll try suggesting something else, for example: King of the Desert - All neutral creatures belonging to the desert (e.g., gremlins) join the hero in half strength. Or simply make it so that there is a 50% chance to recruit neutral creatures standing on desert tiles into your army.
1) It's better not to make special abilities based on terrain; the hero will be unplayable if the terrain is different. 2) A special ability for the scholars will be overpowered. Drumanin Drin
By the way, I remembered another unpleasant drawback of the mod. Why did you have to add those ugly green numbers and generally change the original "attack results" in battles?
Some people really liked them ;) In any case, it won't take long to remove them.Drumanin Drin
P.S. Why not give succubi the model of a Biara instead of these terrible demon lord models?
O_o I strongly disagree. The Biara model is small, inconspicuous, slow-moving, etc. The demon model is much better. Against it. We should gradually get rid of all such heroes (make them larger).
Drumanin Drin
P.P.S. What is the "Death Knight bonus" for Veres? Does he get Death Knights every week, or does he simply receive Death Knights in his army after killing horses? It's slightly unclear.
Isn't it clear? :
Veres: For each type of living horses, unicorns, or riders destroyed, he receives a Death Knight bonus, depending on the number killed.

The mods will work perfectly. Just keep in mind that the heroes will change in terms of creatures, which will not be reflected in the description ;)

100% Not an original model. It's simply inconspicuous on the map.
1) It’s better not to make a special ability related to the terrain; the hero will be difficult to play; 2) A special ability for the Mages will be overpowered.

100% Not an original model. It’s simply not noticeable on the map.
Well, I’m just suggesting it; it’s hard to come up with a truly interesting feature that isn’t just a simple stat boost.
I would be glad if it could be removed; I find it unpleasant to see, and it immediately distracts me.
I’m not against demon models; I just think that there should be a separate female demon model for demons. I really liked Jezebeth with the Biara model; it’s not clear why they removed it later. And regarding being small and inconspicuous, don’t we look at the mini-map when discovering heroes? Speed can also be easily changed in the menu.
Yes, as a person reading the description for the first time, I didn’t understand what the word “bonus” referred to – it could relate to the weekly arrival of horses in his army, or it could simply be about raising dead horses as Knight units; it would be better to replace it with: “Veres: For each type of living horse, unicorn, or rider destroyed, Knight units are added to the hero’s army, depending on the number killed.”
Okay, it doesn’t have to be an original model; the main thing is that it should be female-like, because succubi in tons of armor and with horns look strange).
Added 2 minutes ago Please :D P.S. Found it in 6 seconds. P.P.S. Daleb would look great as an elven model for the Nightmare
This is a "rhetorical" contest. My entry is decent, but the opponent won't even see such an enemy hero.
I'm not against female models for demons, but I strongly object to the Biara model. In addition to what was mentioned above, it doesn't even have a section on the model that indicates team affiliation (flag).
1) I will improve the description of the Veres tooltip; 2) I will restore the damage display to its original form in battle.

Well, when an enemy hero appears in the opponent's field of vision, the camera automatically focuses on him; if you're not blind, you'll see it.
And what about right-clicking for the guys? Again, the minimap.
1) Thank you, I think people will understand it better. 2) HUGE THANKS, now I can play normally. But it's better to leave two versions, just in case someone really liked this innovation.
Veres: After winning a battle where various living horses, unicorns, and riders were destroyed, the hero receives Death Knights. The amount received depends on the number of required creatures killed.

This should be clearer. And I will continue to try to come up with a unique special ability: Cultist - at the beginning of each turn, the hero can use his special ability "Sacrifice," killing 50% of the selected creatures, in exchange gaining their "attack" and "defense" as his own characteristics.

Sacrificing creatures for characteristics is interesting, but I would like to be able to control the number of creatures needed for the sacrifice. However, it would be difficult to organize this in a visually appealing way in the interface.
The sacrifice for stats is interesting, but I would like to be able to control the amount needed for the sacrifice. However, it would be difficult to organize this nicely in the interface.
I think controlling it is a drawback; there should be a fixed amount, and it shouldn't be spammed. It should take up the entire turn, and the sacrifice should only be once a day, but it's better to leave the fine-tuning of this ability to a good game designer who can balance everything. In terms of the interface, you could use a menu similar to the demon summoning sacrifice. P.S. By the way, it would be cool to add the effect of a wall of fire or opening a portal when using this ability.
