If it's not too much trouble, could you share what hardware (CPU, graphics card) is capable of running the beta version reasonably well? The information online is contradictory; some say that an Intel Core 2 Duo is sufficient, while others say it's an Intel i3...

In reality, I have a laptop with an i7, and the game runs, but the AI takes a very, very long time to make its moves. So, I'm not sure about a dual-core processor; the game will probably run, but I think it will be quite frustrating. You can try it, though, because Steam now allows returns within a certain period.

I played the beta on a Core 2 Duo, NVidia GeForce GTX560 (1024). I didn't experience any discomfort. If something was slow, it was slow for everyone, regardless of their hardware (long AI turn, etc.).
