The backstory is that the hero is generally a good guy, but he is forced to use necromancy to get out of the *difficult world* in which he finds himself at the beginning. :)
During the game, you have to give the guards tasks (to open the passage) and sacrifice a good portion of the accumulated liches and destroy the King of the Undead cloak.

Good time of day. A long time ago, I played Heroes of Might and Magic 3, and there was one map that I really liked. Now, no matter which version of the game I download, I can't find it. I think I played it from a disc, but I might be wrong.

So, about the map:
It was relatively large. There were 2 teams of three players each (a total of 6 players on the map).
Team 1:
Castle. Leader Sorcha, but in the guise of Adelaide (i.e., Adelaide's avatar, but it was labeled Sorcha).
Tower. Leader Theodorus in the guise of Astral.
Rampart. I don't remember the leader's name, but the picture was of the character Jenova.

Team 2:
Inferno. Leader Ignatus in the guise of Zadra. (At the start, he was given an artifact, boots that allowed him to walk on water).
Necropolis. Leader Vokial in the guise of Galthran.

"Outside". At the top of the map, there was a kind of peninsula. Team 1 was located there. At the top was the Tower, below it the Castle, and slightly to the right, the Rampart. At the bottom of the map was the Necropolis. And on the left at the bottom, there was a strip of land that led to a passage to the Dungeon.

Dungeon:
I don't remember it well, but at the bottom was the Dungeon, and at the top was the Inferno. Near the Inferno, not far from the castle, there was a passage surrounded by water. I don't remember where it leads.

Another feature of the map was that on the territory of each "race" there were two castles. One main one, from which you start, and a second one that could be captured. And between the Rampart, Tower, and Castle, there were passages closed by "pillars" of a certain color of the faction.

The color of the race, the castle, the teams, and the characters were fixed; you could only choose from what was available.
The colors I remember:
Castle - red
Tower - blue
Rampart - green
but I might be wrong.

Oh, and also, "outside," the Castle, Rampart, and Tower are separated from the Necropolis by water. And the Tower has no access to water at all.
