-Good battle, - said Kael'drim, examining the books on the shelves. [He is looking for all useful information, primarily about the Temple.]
All the books were written in the ancient Halehidian language. And of those present, no one even knew the modern Halehidian language.

THE SCHOLAR WAS KILLED.
We'll sail to the girl and invite her to join us on an adventure with Tiberius. They'll play tag on a wild island with the local "friends."

While everyone is busy exploring the room, Gordian climbs higher.
Bruttia gets a beautiful view of the volcano, the ocean, and the jungle.

Thanasius, who also joined in examining the shelves, sighed heavily: - We could really use the owner of that house right now. And, just in case we meet him, I suggest we grab a few volumes. After that, the histeos continued to examine the shelves, this time looking for books that were in good condition. Even if they don't prove useful to him on the island, he can get a good price for them from Madian or Chalehidian historians.

Let Gordian take the skull; he's lucky.

From Bruttia, there is a magnificent view of the volcano, the ocean, and the jungle.
He doesn't indulge in sentimentality for long and tries to spot something more useful: people, or a Temple of the Halekids, or a pirate ship... anything that could be seen given the distance and natural obstacles to the view.

Ravelin helps Kaeldrim in searching for interesting things (using Chira's bonus, if possible).
Ravelin discovers a hidden compartment in the table. Inside the compartment lies a pendant with some kind of stone in a gold setting.

After that, Histheos continued to examine the shelves, this time looking for books that were well-preserved. Even if they are not useful to him on the island, he will be able to get a good price for them from the Madian or Khalehid historians.
Thanasius takes 5 well-preserved books.

Gordianus couldn't see anything like that.

NOW THAT'S MORE INTERESTING.

-- Have you touched the skull yet?
-No, something tells me that's not the best idea, - replied the elf.

Probably, it provides control or protection against the undead in the Temple.
- I wouldn't touch the skull, - Histheos replied to Gordianus, - it looks too suspicious.

The Madian approached the skull a little closer and tried to spot any traps.
The Madian found nothing suspicious.

“Are you men, or are you mice? Did you get scared of a golden skull?” – with these words, Aleyna removed the skull from the pedestal.

I was going to shoot him, but okay...
"That's the right decision; she's hardly worth regretting. Besides, the skeletons themselves were already a sufficient guard for the artifact, so nothing too bad is likely to happen."
