The elven land in the west of Elgariol is called the Land of Eternal Forests. This land has endured many trials. In 382 A.E. they survived the Axe War with the Powder Brotherhood and the Fire Conflict with the Inquisition of Elgariol. This left a lasting mark on the country, although the elves emerged victorious from these conflicts, their land experienced a certain crisis. In 385 A.E. the elven race experienced a Schism. Since the elven king Elrich Parsons formed alliances with Elgariol and Bracadia, creating the Bright Alliance, and agreed to accept tribute from the Powder Brotherhood instead of conquering their lands, this caused a deep division among the elves. Some insisted on continuing the war with Elgariol and the Brotherhood, while others advocated for an alliance to strengthen the border and counter the growing power of Necros. The country split into two factions: the Royalist (supporters of the alliance) and the Noble (opponents). The Royalist faction was led by the king himself, and the Noble faction was led by Duchess Milana. As Milana's faction gained strength and the situation began to resemble a rebellion, King Tivion decided to discredit her by accusing her of murdering several high-ranking officials from the king's faction and stealing a significant sum from the treasury. After this, parts of the elven people had to go underground to avoid civil war and genocide. After the Schism, the Council of Druids declared impeachment of King Elrich Parsons, and he was overthrown by the Great Senator of the Council of Druids, Melodia, an ageless elf who survived the Cataclysm. As a result of a short palace coup, the situation in the country stabilized. Currently, the Land of Eternal Forests occupies a strong position on the political map.

But she was still alive in Axoth and could have aged.

She could move back; there will be a lot of newcomers anyway. That's why I'm so attached to her – I think we need a recognizable character, not someone pulled out of thin air. And of the recognizable ones, it seems like only she and Melody are left who could plausibly be there...

And Enova? ))) She's in Heroes of Might and Magic IV too...

Isn't Gem an elf? I think she's human. And Melody would be a much better fit; I don't think Enova's specialization is right. It's not a royal specialization!

Or maybe it would be better to make sure Eldrich Parson survives?
