It's strange that you managed to complete the "Tribes of the East" campaign but can't complete the original Heroes of Might and Magic V campaign!
The "Tribes of the East" campaign is more challenging than the regular Heroes of Might and Magic V campaign.

In my opinion, it's much simpler. I had to replay the original several times, but I didn't have to replay "Tribes of the East" even once.

Usually, as soon as the game starts, a cutscene plays, showing the disrupted wedding of Isabel and Nicholas. When I first started the game (freshly installed, before that I played on someone else's computer), there was no cutscene. At the end of mission 4, a similar cutscene should have played (Isabel is a prisoner in Agrila), but it's also missing: the game saved (as usual before such cutscenes), all quests are completed, but the next mission doesn't open((((((((((( Can anyone tell me what's wrong and what to do?! :smile32: :confused: :confused: :eek:

I remember when I was a newbie in Heroes 5, I really enjoyed playing on this map – leveling up, gaining experience, and fighting neutral creatures. ;)

Here, the limit of development is reached very quickly, so what's left to grind for... the only reason to stay is to see the tank.

Hi everyone! I just decided to play through Heroes 5 and encountered the same bug that many others here have had. I understand that no one has posted in this thread for a year, but maybe someone can help. I also have the gold edition, with the tank. I tried to bring up the console to enter the patch to complete the scenario. But I can't even get the console to appear. I've already searched the internet, looked at what to add and where, what lines to add to open the console, but it doesn't help. It's really frustrating((((

I recommend the second set of instructions (second link, second post); it's newer and more reliable.

I don't know how relevant this is now, but I play Gold myself and have the same problem as everyone else. There are 2 solutions: 1) Configure the console and use the cheat code @Win(). BUT the same problem will occur in the last campaign, where the combined forces need to defeat the necromancer. 2) If you launch the console, you can find out that a script file is missing. I don't remember the exact name, but it definitely contains C1M4 - campaign 1, mission 4. If anyone knows where these scripts can be found, please take the time to write it down, and maybe even upload them.

I've had that happen too :(

A strange bug occurred on this map; it didn't significantly hinder my progress, but it was surprising. Before I even reached the Grove, armies of devils and thanes/jarls appeared everywhere, seemingly out of nowhere, with about 5 units in each army. And when I reached the Grove, the same thing happened: armies of cyclops appeared in empty spaces, and the map started to lag noticeably, probably due to the excessive number of neutral armies. I tried to ignore it and only dealt with the ones in my path because fighting all these creatures with an army of peasants would ultimately be too costly, as they would inevitably eat away at my forces. Otherwise, there weren't any major problems.

This doesn't happen on other maps; I don't know why it happened specifically on this one.
