I chose a standard map that was already included in the game (I also downloaded some maps). The objects are distinguishable, but you can hardly see anything. I had the same problem a while ago in the campaign on my computer (I gave up). Now I'm playing on my laptop. Does anyone know what the cause is? Or can you help me? How do you play? With Conflux? If so, you won't be able to download the save file. What version of the game are you using? Save files from different versions may not work. In general, upload this save file somewhere and send me the link – I'll try it.

This isn't an online tournament; it's just that you play this campaign at your own pace over a couple of months, and then you send me the results – and we (and other players) compare how everyone did.

Here's a similar issue, by the way – when attacking a Castle, sometimes the game just gets stuck on a black screen. You can hear the unit sounds and the music, but the screen remains black. I'm playing with the Conflux expansion, version 2.1.1, and I have all the expansions purchased. This is the Ubisoft version (not Steam). It's good that it doesn't happen often, but it still occurs occasionally.

The screen isn't exactly black, but very dark. The problem can occur at any time after a certain action.

It only happens to me sometimes right before attacking a Castle. I can only see the cursor, everything else is black.
