The Factions this time aren’t particularly impressive. The Arbalester, Guardian, Cavalier, and Seraphim are familiar from the previous installment. In some cases, the new textures look great, while in others, you think it would have been better not to change them at all. I have nothing against the Wolf in the human army. I didn’t really understand the Guardian; it feels a bit forced. The second champion is a miss; it doesn’t live up to the Paladin from the first two parts. And the Chaplain looks comical; the upgrade is just a recolored Ku Klux Klan member. The Academy is, of course, almost completely ruined. The Djinn model is terrible, the Rakshasa are somehow wooden, I absolutely don’t like the Mage, the Golem is just not impressive, the Eagle is pulled out of thin air, the amazing Gargoyle from the sixth game has been replaced by an awkward lump, and instead of Dervishes, they took some kind of… THING. The Colossus is also so-so, but the Titan is great; they did a very good job, and there’s nothing to criticize. As I understand it, Necropolis was sent back for a complete overhaul. The Tribes especially disappointed with their disproportionate Centaurs and ridiculous Wyverns. In general, the Titan is excellent. :D

It seems to me that with Water Magic, they keep repeating the same mistakes with this ship summoning ability... Unless they make the presence of water mandatory on all random and multiplayer maps, there's a chance that the spell won't be completely useless.
