Mafia 97. Land of Colored Dreams Auto-translated

Unfortunately, he died too early, but he managed to feel the atmosphere, and it's really good. Give me mana or an unkillable role already, otherwise I become hero #2 for the negative side.
I missed everything after his death, so I can't say much. Congratulations to Kota on the victory, and thank you to Koshe for the game!
P.S. Natural defenses were almost useless due to the piercing attacks of the mages.

it's generally not necessary to define victory conditions that could result in a draw. And even rare cases of a draw can be resolved by drawing lots, so that specific figures can be taken into account in the statistics later, and there is no need to figure out who and what to credit.
And it wouldn't have been difficult to defeat the Horror; it only had two defenses. Instead of the Shaman, they could have executed Revenant, and that would have been it.

On the contrary, we lacked piercing attacks because of these stupid defenses; look at the setting and see what powerful mana and fairy units there are, but the Mafia faction doesn't even have protection against execution.

Well, the Fairy and the Mana units have impenetrable defenses. The concern isn't so much about their ability to penetrate the defenses of the Mages, but rather about their ability to penetrate the defenses of the Horror. In that setting, it was a strong countermeasure in itself, without the need for Bayun.

The horror wasn't that scary, especially considering it was played by a not-so-experienced player. The cat was overpowered because there's no escape from his ultimate ability in the late game, and you need a lot of luck to identify him in the early stages.

And besides the ultimate, the cat also had a double sleep charge. Considering that sleep is essentially a kill, this severely broke the balance. 1 triple and 1 double sleep, and the Mafia is guaranteed to lose.

And the cat also missed some shots despite having such overpowered abilities, so I strongly disagree with Ment about the cat playing well.

The problem with putting a unit to sleep is that the target can be woken up or protected from the effect. However, Horror has a very nasty negative ability that guarantees the death of someone, often a valuable unit (defender, healer, etc.). But I agree – the Cat is strong. It should have simply been removed from the set; it would have been fine. In any case, it's our own fault – we overlooked it.

Only a Dreamcatcher could protect against being put to sleep, and it was easily eliminated. No one could protect the Mafia member. The one who could wake others was easily put to sleep (it would have been better to give Arandor immunity to being put to sleep; I don't understand what he was needed for by Arachne).

Only a dream catcher could protect against sleep paralysis, but it was easily eliminated.

So, what did you miss? Just kidding.

Someone got carried away with the cat's victory :З Meow!

It's a shame I couldn't play, thanks to Ment for filling in.
And yes, Nebok was pretty obviously cheating from day one, I didn't even bother reading the rest, though. It's strange that no one noticed.

You are my clone. Of course, you noticed.

It’s a shame I couldn’t play, thanks to Ment for filling in.

I was there. It was really frustrating when the Mafia understood my incredibly obvious hint in one of the posts and forged a note (right?), and Fairy didn’t figure it out or didn’t think it was necessary to night-kill me. But overall, I shouldn’t have done that – I immediately became a magnet for negativity.

We didn't forge any notes or write them.

And I killed you because I figured out your role through testing.

In general, most of my moves were successful, I just attacked the wrong target during a double attack. I thought Lorelei was the killer because I initially misinterpreted the clue, thinking it referred to Disney's Winnie the Pooh, and I got the chain Winnie the Pooh - Disney - Snow White - Lorelei.

However, even if I had made the right move, we would still have lost because Arandora was not only killed but also put to sleep, as far as I remember.

That's why I think the Cat role is unfair, because no matter what the Mafia does, whether it's a correct or incorrect move, the Mafia loses.

After all, it's difficult to identify the Cat, and there are no clues about putting someone to sleep!

I can’t stand Disney (with a few exceptions), and it’s far from certain that I would even be interested in creating content related to it.

Well, how was I supposed to know?
