Paleontology confirms: the egg appeared earlier (millions of years before the chicken). And some reptile laid that egg.

Yes, but there is some evidence of the existence of a spirit without a body, and not all of it is absurd and nonsense (although most of it is).
But this is already a matter of faith, i.e., irrational. If someone says that they have seen something unknown and unverifiable, then you can believe them, or you can not believe them; this does not add to personal knowledge, as it does not happen to the person themselves, but comes from the outside, as external information.
If I say, for example, that I spoke with God, you will probably not believe me, so for me it is an experience, and for you it is external information that you can believe or not believe.

As for the topic itself... the very formulation of the question is very imprecise.
Firstly, as Einstein showed (and as Christianity asserts!), time exists only together with matter - that is, God is outside of time, and therefore, paradoxically, appeared (from the point of view of time!) at the same moment as matter.
Secondly, in reality, to solve this question, it would be necessary to first, at least in the most general terms, determine what we define as spirit and what as matter, and where to draw the line between them.
