Girls, if I listen to you, or rather, read what you write, does that mean you also feel sorry for enemy unicorns in Heroes?:) I myself am into 3D and somehow don't feel any sympathy for computer graphics, no matter what engine is used.

Recently, there was a poll on mail.ru, as far as I remember, to find out what games girls prefer to play. CS came in 3rd place, 5 heroes took 2nd place, and Sims 2 took 1st place! - but that's just by the way... ;)
Personally, I liked Sims 1 when it was released (I even skipped school for this game). I didn't play the 2nd part, but I saw it, and I only had positive impressions. BUT (!), in my opinion (I must regretfully state), the Sims series (including Sims City) has one significant drawback - it gets BORING:smile10: ...
...but with Heroes, no matter how much I play, it never gets boring...)))

I played the first Sims, but I was only interested in building a house; I didn't follow their lives. I didn't play the second Sims. I liked SimCity the most.

I can’t stand The Sims. The games in the series don’t differ from each other in anything except for new items and facial features. The gameplay is just a monotonous routine; I don’t understand why people need that when they can have it in real life.

I used to play The Sims, both the first and second versions, and after reading your discussions, I really feel like dusting off the disc and revisiting the game. Hmm, The Sims is complete garbage; the only good thing about it is that you can create such weird characters in the appearance generator, although you can do that in Oblivion too...

My personal attitude towards sims is extremely positive. This is already the second step towards creating a virtual universe in its broadest sense. However, right now, it's all at the stage of playing with dolls (like a mother with her daughters), but even that is something! So, don't take this game so lightly! That's not right!

At most, it should be an online game, preferably with a fantasy or futuristic setting, and it should have a good combat system (to achieve a "semblance of the real world").

Ple-Sen, people who don't have everything in order in real life, play for the reasons you mentioned. In my case, everything is fine in real life. I play for fun. I don't escape into the virtual world.:smile53:

And for entertainment, to have some fun, Sims is a good game.

Nah, they're even more boring than the 3rd and 4th installments of Heroes (the other Heroes games are just great). I find it more interesting to try and reach level 20 with Goblins in Lineage than to play Sims...

Why these specific criteria for evaluating simulators? Strangely, the more fantasy and futuristic elements there are, the less reality there is in everything that happens. These games are good because they have vivid fantasy and a lot of things that don't exist in our fleeting world...

Everything is much simpler, actually.....
People play The Sims, but in reality, they are playing at life, and there you can realize things that are currently unavailable to you in life...... for example, I can have 10 children, drink an elixir of youth, and never grow old...... but everything is fine in real life too, so I have no reason to escape from it....... whereas by playing an ONLINE game, specifically FANTASY, you're unlikely to achieve such an effect..... although I agree that it's a game for girls and trying to convince the male sex that it's super is useless!

It's actually much simpler...
People play The Sims, but they're actually playing life, and it allows them to experience things that aren't available to them in real life... for example, I can have 10 children, drink an elixir of youth, and never age... but everything is fine in real life, so I don't need to escape from it... but playing a game like ODAYN, especially in VENTEZI, you're unlikely to achieve that effect... but I agree that it's a game for girls, and trying to convince the male gender that it's super is pointless!

The Sims are great for relaxation. They are easy to play. Even if you don't pay much attention to them, they will basically do everything themselves.
