This isn't fanaticism, but a sound calculation. The paladin race is more realistic than the angel race, at least in the sense that they are more real, and therefore it's easier to divide the entire race into subspecies. That's all.

And here is the perfect race for Paladins!!!

Do whatever you want. I've looked through this section. There were a lot of people who wanted to create a lot of things... and they had better ideas than this. Much better. But even those weren't realized. So... good luck creating a race from a unit. But nothing will come of it. IMHO.
