I would participate in a Heroes tournament, and I miss playing the games, but lately, I've been more drawn to warmer climates than the opposite. It would be great to organize a similar event by the sea at least once. I understand that the cost might not suit everyone, but if we gather in the summer or during the May holidays, there should be good deals on tours (especially in the summer) to places like Egypt or Turkey. Even Crimea would work (no need to travel abroad). If we consider average prices in the off-season (for example, Egypt), it's about $30 per person for a couple (so more than half the price for one person), all-inclusive. You can find last-minute deals for $20 per person (there are more advantageous offers from Moscow). We can organize it like this: we conduct a poll to see who is interested (but not at the last minute, at least a month in advance so we can get a definite headcount). Then, we monitor tour offers from Moscow (I can take care of this). As soon as a good last-minute deal appears for the desired date, we book it immediately for everyone. If there isn't a last-minute deal (which is unlikely), we take whatever is available, which might be slightly more expensive, but not by much. If the number of people is even, everyone can share a room with one other person, which is economical. If it's odd, someone can share a room with a travel companion, or other options are possible (like three people per room). The meeting point and departure would be from Moscow. Just imagine, wouldn't it be great to go for a swim in the warm sea and enjoy a free cocktail from the bar while thinking about your next move against your opponent? Plus, there's a wide range of additional activities like beach volleyball, soccer, diving, fishing near the pyramids, etc.? In short, everyone has time to think about it, but for now, GL HF to everyone participating in the current event.
