We've been thinking here with Pete and came to the conclusion that, due to the large number of simultaneous online tournaments, there is a lack of a thread where their statistics would be collected.

Its main value is for organizers of new tournaments – it allows assessing the current player load and choosing the optimal time to start new tournaments. It is also intended to provide announcements of future tournaments, primarily regular ones, so that players can more easily plan their game calendar.

In this regard, there is an urgent request to organizers of current and future tournaments – in the tournament header or in the first post, post and update the following information:
- tournament start date
- total number of players
- tournament stage
- number of remaining players
- approximate end dates

Tournament load history for 2014:

In total, there are 10 Tournaments and 3 Competitive events. The organizer position for OFB9 is currently vacant, but of course, our main forum tournament will not be left without a leader; it will simply be determined later. m200 – we hope that kalababa will return and hold another tournament on small maps. If not, Pit for LM will take up the banner; this competition is interesting and should continue. The number of participants is indicated as an estimate, based on past experience, as are the deadlines. A tournament with entry fees is also planned, but it is still in the project stage, and registration for it will not begin until October. In addition to these competitions, each member of the forum has the right to create their own tournament: official or unofficial, with or without rating points. There is a shortage of organizers, and if anyone comes up with an original idea for a tournament and wants to enjoy the rewards of being an organizer, they are welcome to join us. Tournament ideas:

1) "Blitz Jebus - 2", time control 8+4+1 (in case of mutual trance, 8+5+1).

2) "Barbarian Axe" - play Stronghold vs Stronghold, one player chooses the color, the other chooses the starting hero. Essentially, it's a competition to see who is stronger - Gurn or Krag.

3) "Elemental Storm" - the same, but for Fortress, playing Flax vs Luna vs Moner (maybe also vs Grindan).

4) "UnderWorld" - a tournament on the map of the same name (I'm drawing it right now).

If anyone wants to participate, welcome. If there are no volunteers, I will organize it myself sometime.

Actually, I don't quite like this approach. There is a tournament calendar that turned out to be quite full, and tournaments that appear out of nowhere greatly interfere with it. Unfortunately, not all players can adequately assess their abilities and sign up for all tournaments, thereby disrupting the schedule. This, of course, does not mean that no one can hold their own tournaments; it just means that they need to coordinate with other organizers and not put obstacles in their way. The best thing is to find a free slot in the schedule, coordinate with the person responsible for the calendar, and not create a new topic suddenly.

What is this about? A map where there are only dungeons? If so, I like it; I love underground locations. I can help with organizing it.
I believe that tournaments should compete with each other in terms of ideas and the quality of their organization. This will only be beneficial. But everything should be in moderation, of course. I think 14-15 tournaments a year is a good number for the forum. This way, not only participants can choose tournaments to their liking, but organizers can also choose participants.

I'm planning a tournament called "Winter is Coming." Wicc is aware and we even tried to brainstorm together.
Due to being very busy, I couldn't launch it last year. This year, I'm announcing that the tournament will start in December. Registration is planned for November.
Right now, I can say that the tournament will be extraordinary; we haven't played anything like this before. You'll need to constantly use your brain, even if you're not playing against an opponent. We're in for a turn-based journey across the map of the seven kingdoms, battles for the throne, and confrontations with ice walkers, quests, puzzles, and wonders of diplomacy.

Actually, I don't run other people's tournaments; I have enough of my own. At most, I offer advice on the rules or help with the technical aspects. The described tournament is quite creative, and it would be difficult to develop the rules and software for it alone.
