New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
A good person lent me Oblivion. Now I'm playing it and enjoying it. It's the best game, IMHO)))
Aside from Heroes 3, I haven't played anything else for many years now. Other games get tiring over time. But for example, I consider the old games to be the best! For instance, Quake 1, Doom 1, Hexen, Age of Empires 1, Majesty, Diablo 1. Maybe the graphics are blocky, but what spirit, what interest—you can feel that the developers put soul and meaning into the games. Medal of Honor and Disciples are also pretty good.
Recently, I became interested in the game "Heroes of Ruined Empires," based on the eponymous book series that was also recently released. It is advertised as an attempt to combine RTS and RPG; the second part will be released soon, and regarding the first part, I think the idea is good, but the developers didn't finish many details – there is still a lot of work to be done...
In principle, is it possible to completely mix strategy and RPG and create some new genre?
I played it too, and I really liked it. The idea is good, and the execution is good as well. I enjoyed mowing down thousands of enemy skeletons with an elven ranger:)
I agree that it could have been better, but... After all, this is a trilogy, and we have 2 more parts of this game to look forward to. I hope everything will be okay there:)

Yeah, I play it too. It's a pretty good game, but the only thing that annoys me is its speed! I set it to maximum, but it's still slow.
